Potato rosti with smoked salmon 

It’s Friday and I wanted to make something a little bit more fancy, but as simple as possible at the same time. So this is what I made …

Easy and delicious lunch

… really tasty potato rosti with smoked salmon and cream cheese, decorated with some capers and Parmesan cheese flakes.

Ingredients:

  • 5 large potatoes
  • 1 medium onion
  • 5 tbsp sesame flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for frying

Serve with: 

  • 200 g smoked salmon
  • Capers
  • Parmesan cheese flakes

Instructions:

  1. Grate the potatoes and onion.
  2. Add flour, salt, pepper and mix everything very well.
  3. Add oil to hot frying pan.
  4. Form rosti (I used approx 2-3 teaspoons of mixture) and fry on both sides until brown and crispy.
  5. Top with a cream cheese, smoked salmon on top and add capers, Parmesan cheese for extra taste.
  6. Serve immediately!
